Privacy policy
Last updated October 9, 2026. Draft pending legal review, placeholders in brackets.
The controller of your personal data is SKALO LLC, a Delaware limited liability company, 16192 Coastal Highway, Lewes, Delaware 19958, United States, support@skaloai.com. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your rights under the GDPR and similar laws.
What we collect
- Account data: name, email, password (stored hashed by our authentication provider), consent timestamps.
- Business profile: the answers you give during onboarding (offer, prices, numbers, goals, team) and the materials you share, including links and the text we read from them.
- Conversations: your messages and the AI answers, with technical usage data such as tokens and usage.
- Memory: short notes the AI keeps from your conversations (numbers, decisions, next steps, results) so later answers build on earlier ones. When you tell it a profile value changed, it updates your business profile. You see, delete or clear all of it in Settings, Memory.
- Tasks and weekly reviews: tasks you or the AI add to your board (title, goal, deadline, owner, specialist) and the weekly review the AI writes from your connected tools, memory and tasks. Admins can read them for support and quality, as with the rest of your data.
- Team workspace: if you invite people, they see and use your business profile, materials, memory, connected tools (not the keys), tasks and weekly reviews, and their usage counts on your plan. Each person's chat sessions stay private to them. We store the invited email and the invite date. If you join someone else's workspace, the owner sees the tasks you create and the facts the AI remembers from your sessions.
- Connected tools: the keys you give us (stored encrypted) and the data the AI reads from those tools when it answers (for example revenue, calls, ad results, form answers), plus events your automations send to your private webhook address. Contact details in form answers are not passed to the AI.
- Recordings and transcripts: call and video recordings you upload and their transcripts.
- Billing data: plan, status and membership identifiers received from Whop. Card details are handled by Whop and never reach us.
- Partner program applications: name, email, Instagram handle and phone number you send in the partner form.
- Technical data: logs needed to run and secure the service.
Why we use it
- To provide the service you subscribed to (contract).
- To manage billing, usage limits and fraud prevention (contract, legitimate interest).
- To support your account and improve answer quality: our team can review your business profile and conversations for support, quality and safety (legitimate interest, which you accept at signup). We do not sell your data and we do not use it for third party advertising.
- To reply to partner program applications, only about the program (consent, given in the form).
- To meet legal obligations such as tax and accounting.
Who processes it for us
- Supabase (database and authentication), Vercel (hosting), Anthropic (AI model provider, processes prompts to generate answers), Whop (payments and subscriptions), AssemblyAI (transcribes the call and video recordings you upload), Jina AI (opens public web pages you share so SKALO can read and see them), Resend (sends account and service emails).
- Call recordings often include other people. Upload a recording only if you have the right to, for example because participants were told the call is recorded. Deleting the recording from your materials deletes its transcript.
- Some of these providers are in the United States. SKALO LLC is also based in the United States. Transfers of personal data from the EU and the UK rely on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (and the UK addendum) in our providers' data processing terms, or on an adequacy decision such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework where the provider is certified.
- Under its commercial terms, Anthropic does not use data sent through its API to train its models.
How long we keep it
Account, profile and conversations are kept while your account is active and deleted within 30 days of account deletion, except billing records we must keep by law (usually 10 years for invoices). Logs are kept for up to 90 days.
Your rights
You can access, correct, export or delete your data, object to processing based on legitimate interest, and complain to your data protection authority. Write to support@skaloai.com and we answer within 30 days. Deleting your account deletes your profile, materials, recordings, transcripts, memory and conversations.
